The Unconditional Forgiveness
Someone from your past caused you immense, life-altering harm. They have now reached out to you asking for your forgiveness, stating they 'want to move on.' However, in their apology, they don't seem to fully grasp the extent of the pain they caused and have not taken concrete steps to make amends. Granting forgiveness might bring you a sense of peace and closure, but it could also feel like you are invalidating your own suffering and letting them off the hook too easily.
