The Mandatory Vaccination

A highly contagious and deadly new virus is spreading. A safe and effective vaccine has been developed. To achieve 'herd immunity' and protect the entire population—including those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons (like infants and the immunocompromised)—public health experts say that at least 95% of the population must be vaccinated. However, a significant portion of the population refuses to vaccinate due to personal beliefs or mistrust. Should the government make vaccination mandatory for all eligible citizens?
